Rapid Gear not only specializes in custom gear manufacturing but also the complete rebuilding of gear reducers for most industries and brands. Along with rebuilding, we can also design / build new replacement reducers to replace obsolete or specialized boxes that cannot be easily sourced.
A few shops can rebuild reducers BUT Rapid Gear is one of the few that can also manufacture the gearing if required and complete a total reverse engineering service in some circumstances where needed.
We have a 30 ton crane, so any size reducer can be rebuilt. Our machining capabilities are also substantial where reboring and any milling needed is done on our shop floor. We have the resources in house, supplier network to manufacture and repair all your gearing and gearbox requirements.
